Skin Care Review: Paula's Choice 1% BHA lotion

by Anonymous

Gentle, proper pH to function.

None that I've experienced.

I tried an AHA exfoliant from a different company and it left a burn on my face (like a chemical rash along my jawline-lovely). I switched to scrubs for awhile, but returned to using lotion exfoliants since the 1% BHA exfoliant from PC is a lot less abrasive, I use it about every other day and I've never had any irritation. I have dry skin, so I buy this in lotion form (as opposed to liquid or gel). I don't use it every day or it dries out my skin, I also don't wear it under makeup (too much already on my face). PC has their BHA at the correct pH to work, so that's mostly why I go with this brand. I think it is gentle on my skin and exfoliates effectively.

All around good BHA and reasonably priced.
