I have used Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid for 3 years, and have had the clearest and most healthy skin I have ever experienced. I am 28 with combination/oily, somewhat acne prone skin, and have found this product to adress all those issues gently by helping to overturn cell production and clear out my pores.
I use it in conjunction with a gentle cleanser and light moisturizer in the evenings and have experienced no excessive drying, flakiness or irritation. In addition, it does not lose effectiveness over time like some AHA products.
Conclusions
I would recommend this to anyone with acne-prone skin who is tired of harsh treatments.
