In addition to the sting, which is bearable, 6 - 8 hours after applying, my face gets hot, red and the area around my eyes swells, burns and becomes itchy. This is the third time this has happened. I thought it was an alergy to shellfish, or something I was eating. I didn't put anything on my face for weeks after the first and second episodes, but I put this product on yesterday and the results are terrible. This has to be the problem. I've washed my face four times, rinsed it with cold water and applied Aveeno to cut down on the itch and soreness. It will take days for my face to look normal and it's downright scary, wondering what's wrong. I look like I have a 3rd degree burn or a major sunburn. I hope it doesn't develop into an infection, or worse.

Conclusions
I won't use this product again, nor recommend it.
