i started using tretinoin 0.05% for aging/sundamaged skin(i'm only 37 but the sun damage sure started showing) and my skin became sensitive and slightly drier feeling..especially in winter with the heaters running and the cold dry outside air. after discovering www.paulaschoice.com and her book, 'don't go to the cosmetics counter without me' i decided to try out some of her products...i must admit i was leery of using a 'cream' moisturizer as i have had bad results with most..they generally break me out.

i decided what the heck and order her skin recovery moisturizer because the keywords "sensitive skin" stood out to me! the ingredient list is amazingly full of beneficial ingredients and none of the irritating fragrances, plant extracts or essential oils (none of paula's products have known uselessly irritating ingredients).

the texture of the product is extremely thick but easily emulsifies with your fingers, it is the texture of an extremely thick eye cream. a little truly does go a long way...i dabbed it on all over and then smoothed it in...immediately my skin started feeling refreshed and moisturized..like it took a big drink of water, but did not leave a greasy/shiny finish after it absorbed...i used it everywhere on my face, including my lips and eyes, before i go to bed (which is also when i use my retin a)...when i wake up my skin looks great..i almost hate to rinse my face!

Conclusions
perfect moisturization for dry sensitive skin.
