During the winter my face would itch and get red. I had always had a problem with acne and oily skin. I went to a dermatologist and she gave me presription strength cortizone cream. It really worked well. When the redness and itching stopped, I discontinued the use of the cortizone cream and the itching and redness came back even worse. There was a clear fluid that would crust up in some areas of itching. It was horrible. I couldn't wear makeup. If I put the cortizone cream on - my face would clear up. I went back to the dermatologist 3-4 times. She finally said - you just have to stop using the cortizone cream. Just stop it! That weekend I was in a department store (Hecht's) and stopped at the Erno Laslo counter. The consultant told me about a trial size program for my skin type - 'an 11 o'clock'. It included soap, day cream, night cream, and 2 toners. She said my skin need moisture and this program would clear up the redness, itching and 'weeping' problem. Sure enough, 3 weeks later, my skin was in much better shape. I still have some broken blood vessels and thinning skin as a result of that cortisone cream - but I learned that even oily skin can become dry.

Conclusions
Erno Laslo trial size program is a great basic skin care program.
