Skin Care Review: Devita Solar Body Block SPF 30
Sun protection, anti aging
white cast, flakey, unwearable
I used to use Devita Solar Body Block SPF 30 all over my body, including my face, and I loved their old formula. It contained 19% zinc oxide, and was completely free of chemicals, nano-technology, and it would be completely insivible when applied on skin. I loved their old formula, but when I received my lastest order, they completely changed the formula! It is now junk, and leaves a complete white cast like a geisha/clown, flakes off, and makes your hairline look like it is flaking dandruff off of it! Horrible change. The makers sent me an email saying they can no longer make their formula with the same suppliers of zinc oxide, so I guess their new suppliers are producing a type of zinc oxide that is inferior when it comes to cosmetic elegance. Maybe the old formula was not stable enough, or too good to be true, hence the change? Who knows the truth for sure, but I will definately be not buying from them before, which is a shame because it was well known to being one of the best invisible, safe, natural sunscreens around. Good-bye Devita!
Only works if you apply a very small amount, which doesn't really protect you.
