Fitness Tip: Body Pump

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis a few years ago at the age of 54---plus I'd had back surgery and was unable to lift more than 2 gallons of milk at a time. A friend told me about a class she was taking at the local gym, "Body Pump". Being overweight and NEVER having felt comfortable in a gym, I was scared to go! However I made myself walk into that class. Everyone was very nice and helpful -- and it has changed my life! There is lots of instruction involved as the proper form to use and all 10 major muscle groups are targeted.

I've lost 30 pounds -- of course I've changed my diet also -- and I now can pick up just about anything I decide to! People are always telling me how good I look...and I like to show off my biceps! I go 3 times a week and hate to miss!
