Cosmetics / Makeup Tip: Smooth, spot-free hands

submitted by Liane M Pioli, Easton, CO USA

I am 57. My hands have, over the years gotten those unlovely age spots. I decided to attack them on a daily basis. Every morning and evening I slather a 10% glycolic acid all over the tops of my hands. (I use Alpha Hydrox, which is cheap. They make AHA's for the body but they are too weak to do anything. If it is morning I then put on a 20 to 30 SPF organic sun block all over the backs of my hands. In a month almost all of the spots have disappeared. This could work also on the upper chest area that also shows one's age.

The age spots on my hands have almost disappeared. I also dot 10% glycolic acid on spots on my neck etc. I tried hydroquinone but found it irritating. This is a great alternative.
