Cosmetics / Makeup Tip: How to apply concealer

submitted by Leslie, Milwaukee, WI USA

Use the single-pointed end of a plastic hair "lifter" or "teaser" as a concealer applicator. Scrap a tiny amount of concealer onto the tip of the teaser. Dot the concealer on the area to be covered (such as under the eye). Tap or dot the concealer on with many light taps. Let it rest for a few seconds to warm up. Then tap the "dots" of concealer w/ your fingertip. This will spread the concealer without pulling the delicate undereye skin. This way of applying also allows you to use every last bit of the concealer since you can get the tip into nooks and crannies (or down a tube) of the concealer container

You will get application of concealer exactly where you want it without pulling/tearing your skin AND you will be able to use ALL of the concealer product because the applicator gets in all the nooks and crannies of the containers.
