Cosmetics / Makeup Tip: Summer tip for fresh makeup

submitted by Sally, Fort Collinhs, CO USA

Tip description / details:
I would like to share a great summer (or anytime) tip for keeping your makeup just-applied fresh. If your skin tends to get more shiny/oily during warmer weather; instead of buying expensive blotting papers simply use a porous, cheap napkin or public restroom paper towel (like from a fast food place). These work exceptionally well because of their porosity and absorption properties. I get a couple of extras when I'm on the go and at lunch, stuff them in my glove compartment and then when I feel the need to refresh during a busy day I just take one out and press against the various oily areas of my face and presto! It's like you just put your makeup on fresh again!

Ingredients:
Cheap, porous napkin or paper towel.

How to prepare:
None

How to use:
Press gently but firmly onto oily/shiny areas of face.

Results (observed by submitter):
It's like you just put your makeup on fresh again!

Costs involved:
way minimal
