Cosmetics / Makeup Tip: Makeup remover

submitted by Anonymous

Whenever women put mascara on their lashes, invariably they get some on the skin around their eyes. For many years I have used a good quality hand cream to remove excess make-up and found it to be very effective and less expensive than a small bottle of makeup remover. Simply dip the end of a Q-tip into your favorite hand cream and then twirl it around to wipe off the excess. Use the Q-tip to wipe above your top lashes and under your lower ones to remove unwanted make-up. Be careful not to get the lotion into your eyes. I find this to be much easier and less greasy than using traditional make-up removers. It also allows better mascara coverage of your lashes since you don't have to worry about being as precise about the application. Get it on your skin, then wipe it off!
