Skin Care Tip: Combine cleanser with baking soda for fresher skin

submitted by Jane F, Hong Kong

Tip description / details:
To keep my skin looking smooth and fresh, I add a pinch of baking powder to my cleanser Cetaphil and mix them in the palm of my hand. Then I gently rub this over my face and throat and chest, paying special attention to the greasy parts of my nose and chin. To finish I rinse with warm water, pat dry and then apply the rest of my skincare. I have found that doing this at least once a week helps my skin look fresh and smooth.

Ingredients:
Baking Powder - just a pinch thou, you can try a little more if you want; Cetaphil - or any other waterbase cleanser, preferably nonperfumed, unscented.

How to prepare:
Just mix a little baking powder in the palm of your hand with enough Cetaphil to spread on your face, neck and chest.

How to use:
Rub mixture gently over whole area, paying more attention to the nose and chin. Rinse off, pat dry.

Results (observed by submitter):
My skin looks fresher and feels smoother.

Costs involved:
minimal
