Skin Care Tip: Honey for dry skin

submitted by Cathie McDonald

Tip description / details:
If you ever have dry flaky legs or dry skin on your face, here's a tip that I've used many times with excellent results. Not only does it leave your skin soft and smooth, it tastes good and doesn't leave a yucky smell on your skin.

The only ingredients this quick fix requires are a jar of honey and a bit of time. I like to use organic honey, just to make sure I'm using the best quality of product for my skin. The nice thing about this treatment is that you probably have a jar in your kitchen right now so you can do this immediately!

How to prepare:
Heat honey in the microwave until runny not too hot just warm to the touch.

How to use:
Apply warm honey to face and/or legs, leave on until sticky to the touch, (about ten minutes), then rinse off with warm water. Voila!

Results (observed by submitter):
Leaves your skin feeling very soft and no more flaky skin. I do this a couple times a week.

Costs involved:
the cost of a jar of honey
