Skin Care Tip: Rose water & aloe

submitted by Elizabeth Buck, Cupertino, CA United States

After a shower or bath I like to use pure aloe vera and rose water. It helps prepare my skin for other products like vitamin c. The rose water is really great because not only is it soothing, and inexpensive, it smells good. My feeling on both of these products is that they "feed" my skin. Rose hips are a natural source of vitamin c, and aloe is an all over tonic. For moisturizing I follow this routine with a simple moisturizer like Cetaphil. This combo of moisture plus the vitamins I get from the rosewater and aloe seems like a common sense combo. And best of all, it's easy.
