Skin Care Tip: Morning skin revival routine

submitted by Anonymous

Tip description / details:
after very light morning cleansing of my 52 year old skin, I slice about a 2" chunk of aloe (I cut one leaf at a time and refridgerate then use as needed on 2" "fillets"). I apply the fresh aloe to my skin and wait for it to dry completely ( if it doesn't dry completly it gets the consistency of snot when other things are applied over it--esp vitamin E). When the aloe is dry, I apply the homemade c and let it sit for as long as possible. This can be done with the c first, then the aloe if you want to optimize the c, as the aloe seems to tone the skin and shrink the pores some.

Ingredients:
l-ascorbic acid, water, glycerine, freah aloe vera

How to prepare:
prepare c as described in Do-It-Yourself Infopack. Cut aloe leaf directly from plant, wash, slice 2" chunk from cut end. Refrigerate rest of leaf to use later, cut off barbed sides and slice in the middle exposing gel.

How to use:
Smooth the gel over the skin and allow to dry completely.

Results (observed by submitter):
Skin feels fresh and soft, and when the c prep is used with it, it is not drying and once the c gel has had time to absorbe, you can blot off any excess and apply makeup right over it.

Costs involved:
pennies per day
