submitted by Deborah Burstyn, CA USA

Tip description / details:
Vitamin C and other fruit acids that benefit skin lurk within the peel of a fresh orange. Instead of throwing away the peel, use it as a quick easy skin revitalizer.

Ingredients:
The peel or rind or large section of peel or rind from one orange.

How to prepare:
Remove peel with a peeler. Or cut orange into quadrants. Cut away pulp.

How to use:
Gently rub the white inside of an orange peel over your face. You should feel a slight tingling from the fruit's acids. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse.

Results (observed by submitter):
This simple inexpensive treatment offers a mild exfoliating with softer more radiant skin texture.

Costs involved:
less than $1
